Job Description

Afni is hiring a Director of Marketing Communications who will lead global communications, sales enablement, marketing, and branding to protect and elevate the Afni brand and drive results. In this role, the Director will be the senior global leader for internal and external organizational communications, sales support, email marketing, marketing automation, public relations, employer brand, employee experience, and overall company branding.

What you will be doing:

  • Leads the strategy for and execution of global internal and external communications. Identifies new opportunities, listens and responds to feedback and business needs, partners with leaders and executives, and brings new and best practices to the organization that move communications forward. 
  • Leads recruitment marketing automation strategies to meet business goals. The successful candidate will have experience with marketing automation software and can demonstrate the ability to use a blend of automation, data analytics, and campaigns to drive business results.
  • Plans and oversees integrated marketing communications campaigns to support recruitment marketing, internal change management, employee engagement, public relations, employer brand protection, and market position in key business growth areas. 
  • Leads a team of marketers, specialists, content developers, and visual designers by setting clear vision, strategy, and goals to deliver marketing communications strategies and tactics across and between all layers of the organization. Provides direction, development, and mentorship to the team and the broader organization. 
  • Supports the company's business development function by overseeing proposal writing, research, end-to-end sales support, and sales positioning messages. 
  • Establishes and maintains a consistent corporate image throughout all product lines, promotional materials, events and internal and external communications.
  • When required, serves as Afni spokesperson to external audiences, including media. Develops and implements public relations plans including press releases and special publicity events. 
  • Manages and continuously enhances public-facing website properties and the employee intranet.
Requirements What you will need:
  • Eight to ten years of progressive experience in sales and integrated marketing management, with an emphasis on internal/executive communications, marketing automation, digital marketing, and content strategy
  • B.S. in business, public relations, journalism, communications, marketing or advertising, masters' degree preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to evaluate and measure campaigns and programs. 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills to develop an enthusiastic and competent sales and marketing staff.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work with shifting priorities 
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to pay attention to detail.
  • Superior presentation and analytical skills, plus demonstrated skills to handle a variety of assignments simultaneously. 
  • Ability to work under deadline pressure and extra hours if needed on assignments.
